Your children need to hear about the importance of delaying sex from YOU. Parents are arguably the most important factor in whether a teen makes the decision to Say Not Yet.
Nearly seven out of ten teens agree it would be much easier for them to postpone sexual activity and avoid teen pregnancy if they were able to have more open, honest conversations about these topics with their parents.

So ask some questions and get involved in your teen’s life. Find out what your teen thinks, what their friends think – and make sure they know what you feel and why.
Don’t assume that they know your beliefs about sex. Make sure of it.
